Welcome to the NAACP Convention People

Welcome to those attending the National NAACP convention here in Kansas City.  As one of the leading activists in America for all, including those that have to deal with and/or overcome discrimination based on havng a disability,  I understand personally what it is like having to deal with and overcome various types of discrimination myself.

Furthermore, I am also an ABA sponsored  CLEO  Thurgood Marshall associate, Therefore, I want to wlecome those that are attending this event here in Kansas City this week.

My goal like the NAACP is that we all unite as one people-that we all afforded equal protection of the law. I still like to remind individuals and various entities both in my capacity as as a civil rights activist, as well as now as a congressional candidate that if we all merely classify ourselves as Americans, we are united.  So here is a big shoutout to those attending the NAACP National Convention.

We are all very fortunate to have Kansas City be the host to this important and historic national convention.  I am wishing all attendees the very best.  We have come a long way to ending various types of discrimination in America.  And i realize equal protection of the law as promised by the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution still has a long way to go.  The vestiges of various forms of discrimination continue to be a big challenge here in America. Equal protection of the law is a very higth, but attainable goal.

My goal as a United States congressional candidate and hopefully as a United States congressman soon, defininitely includes the big goal of uniting all Americans with dreams and visions of a better and more civil nation.

Take care. Merely raise your hand and state I am an American.  And based on that statement or affirmation, we stand together as a united nation, one people under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.  We can united then proceed as Americans to set visions and dreams of our present and future prosperty for all.

Peace.

Anyone that would like to post solutions to make America a better nation as a guest blog author; or has solutions to fix some of the problems in America, send me an essay to tscherer4@kc.rr.com. Also known as Thomas E. Scherer, your better candidate for United States Congress

Merely remember if I am elected to Congress, you the individual are my boss. PACS, Lobbyists and Special Interest Groups, sorry, but just go away. Americans are tired of the United PACS of America buying and corrupting our congressman and Senators. Our candidate is not for sale.
